Muay Thai Kickboxing

Muay Thai Kickboxing is known for its amazing conditioning as “The Art of Eight Limbs”. It makes use of kicks, punches and the extensive use of knees and elbows, thus using eight “points of contact”.

Our Muay Thai Kickboxing classes are fitness and teamwork-based, suitable for everyone and carefully designed for all skill levels from beginner to experienced striker. We can help you achieve goals in fitness, self defence and confidence. No matter what level you start at, you will improve dramatically and see results even faster than you might expect. Truly a brilliant way to get into GREAT shape fast!

Our classes begin with stretching and an amazing warm up which includes cardio, conditioning, shadow boxing and other bodyweight exercises. Pad work and drilling with a partner follows to develop technique, power, timing and speed. The basic offensive techniques that are drilled use punches and kicks in the free range and knees and elbows in the clinch. Classes end with a cool-down and stretching. Modified sparring is reserved for the more experienced levels under a supervising instructor.
