Owner/Jiu Jitsu Instructor
Born and raised in the Cobourg area, Chris has been involved in the Martial Arts community for over 24 years. Within that time he has gained experience in Boxing, Muay Thai Kickboxing and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Chris is dedicated to providing the Northumberland and surrounding area with a longstanding and professional martial arts academy. In 2008 his drive and passion for martial arts lead him to Thailand where he lived and trained for over 5 months. Although his primary focus is Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and has been for over 17 years, he is continually looking to grow and evolve as both a martial artist and a teacher. Chris trains on a regular basis in both Muay Thai Kickboxing and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt under Justin Bruckmann.

Andrew has practiced a variety of martial arts including Muay Thai, Wrestling and primarily Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Andrew is a very active competitor , competing internationally throughout North America and Europe. You can find Andrew on the mats teaching and training every night of the week, Andrew is a 3x Ontario Open Champion, 3x Provincial Champion, New York Open Champion, NoGi Pan Am Champion, NoGi World Bronze Medalist. Andrew teaches our Mighty Monkeys 3-5 program, as well as our kids fundamental 6-12 program. Andrew understands the importance of character development in Martial Arts and helps give students the tools they need to become future leaders.
Muay Thai Instructor
Debin has been involved with the art of Muay Thai for over 15 years. During his time studying the art Debin has managed to rack up a number of accolades in the sport. Some of these accolades include winning his first National Championship in 2010 and successfully defending that Title in 2011 and in 2012. Debin has seen an amazing fight career over the years and the sport has taken him around the world to study and learn. Debin is also a very caring a passionate coach who always wants to see our students become the best version of themselves while helping them reach any goals they have set.
James joined United Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu when it first originated in Port Hope in 2010. There he met professor Chris Macaulay. James moved to the Peterborough area in 2013 where he studied Business Administration and earned his diploma in 2016. James began to work at the academy later that year. You can usually find James at the front desk, or occasionally on the mats instructing/ assisting with class.
